1. Why another Bomberman game?

There was no good working Bomberman for LAN/Internet playing on PC's when we startet this project. So we decided to work on such a game ourselves.

2. Can I download updates and bugfixes after I purchased Cube Combat?

Yes you can. You receive login information consisting of your email address and a password after purchasing Cube Combat. You can login and start up to three downloads after each version update.

3. Which ports are used by Cube Combat?

Cube Combat uses udp port 24781 for master server communictation. Game server and client use udp port 24782.

4. Must I open a port on my router to host a game server?

No. Cube Combat uses Port Punching to open the channel used for client server communications. This technique works generally behind the most routers. In case this doesn't work, you should open port 24782 for incoming udp messages.

5. What do the five modes in the Setup->Graphics menu mean?

The modes describe the level of detail / effect used by the renderer.

6. Where is the config file?

The Cube Combat config file in Windows is placed in the „non roaming user settings“ directory. For Windows Vista this is usually:

for Windows XP this is:
